The Warburton section of the Yarra Valley with gorgeous trees and numerous parks is a great destination. Picnic or walk beside the Yarra River, or enjoy the various cafes, restaurants and shops in and around the township.

There is a recreation reserve for various sporting activities, a primary school, the Arts Centre at Warburton hosts a range of activities during the year as well as movies, and there is a visitor centre at the Water Wheel. Warburton is a great location for permanent, holiday or weekend living.

The Holiday Park (caravans, cabins etc) and the Aged Care facility are both beside the river, Donna Buang Road leads to Mt Donna Buang and the Warburton Trail walking and riding track, which was the old rail line, is a great local amenity.
