About Lilydale

Lilydale is a lush, green town of Melbourne, Victoria, about 35 km north-east from Melbourne's CBD situated close to both the Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley. At the 2016 census, Lilydale had a population of over 15,000. began as a town within the Shire of Lilydale and is also notable as the burial site of Dame Nellie Melba (Lilydale Cemetery).

There is so much to do in Lilydale, You can walk around the picturesque Lilydale Lake, settle up on the lake’s fishing jetties, or walk/cycle the Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail. The historic Lilydale Athenaeum presents theatre performances, take a dip in the local outdoor swimming pool.
