About Wendouree
The suburbs name comes from the man-made lake located nearby Lake Wendouree.
The area provides excellent retail facilities at Stockland Shopping centre, a medical precinct, public transport, Eureka Stadium, Performing arts centre, Ballarat Showgrounds and an easy walk to the beautiful Lake where you can enjoy a walk around the lake, the famous Begonia Festival in the Botanic Gardens in March each year and Springfest in September.
Wendouree is home to the second-largest commercial and business centre in Greater Ballarat, as well as a number of Ballarat-based commercial and industrial businesses.
