Brookfield is a suburb located in the outer western suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. 43km north-west of Melbourne's CBD, It is known for its semi-rural atmosphere and its mix of residential and rural properties.

The township of Brookfield was first established in the 1980s and was known as Brookfield Estates until the 1990s. Since then, the area has expanded vastly into new estates, namely; Maddison Gardens, Botanica Springs and Silverdale.
