About Edithvale
Edithvale is well known for its stunning, pure white, sandy beach and historic, colourful bathing boxes dotted along the shoreline. It is not uncommon to see dolphins playing in the waters, some have been seen as close as 100 metres from shore! If you’re an avid fisherman, you’re likely to catch yourself some Flathead and Garfish, as well as Flounder.
Within the suburb is Edithvale Primary School, there are many schools in the surrounding suburbs like Aspendale Gardens Primary School, Aspendale Primary School, St Louis de Montforts school, Mordialloc College, Chelsea Heights Primary School and St Josephs.
Edithvale has a train station on the Frankston line making travel to the Melbourne CBD by public transport easy.
You will find a number of shops and cafes and an IGA along the Nepean Highway in front of the beach in Edithvale and within 5 mins there are Woolworths, Foodworks, Supa IGA and other General stores in surrounding suburbs.
