About Clyde North

Clyde North is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, and is part of the City of Casey local government area. It is situated 46 kilometres south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District. 31.681 people were living in Clyde North as of the 2021 census.

Clyde North features new housing estates such as Cascades On Clyde, Selandra Rise & Passadena to name a few. There are also a number of other new estates under construction and extensive plans in place for the precinct, with shopping centres, rail links, new schools and parks the town is set to boom with families already moving into the area.

It is classified as Green wedge property, is clearly rural in character, and is located outside of the major growth corridor in the region of Clyde North to the east of the recently developed suburban sector, about one kilometre east of Berwick-Cranbourne Road. In this region, the land is split between dairy farming and market gardening, especially along Pattersons Road. The terrain is primarily flat, and the City of Casey maintains the majority of the area's dirt roads.

Late in 2019, a new lifestyle centre with a Bunnings Warehouse as the first store, a few additional stores, and now even an Aldi supermarket opened.
