Having completing two years of a carpentry apprenticeship, Tony became tired of the tools, and pursued a career in real estate. After joining the Barry Plant team in 1993 as a property manager, Tony has never looked back – achieving a successful career as a senior sales consultant, accomplished auctioneer and REIV Certified License Estate Agent.
“I have never regretted the move to real estate for a moment. I’m at the face of my work and have constant contact with people. I am actively involved with the transaction from start to finish, and get a real buzz out of conducting auctions.”
Despite his friendly, easy-going approach, Tony is determined to achieve both his clients’ and his personal goals.
“There’s no reason why business shouldn’t be conducted in a friendly environment, but at the same time it is important to recognise that the sale of a property is a major event in anyone’s life.”

Family activities with his wife and two sons take up most of Tony’s leisure time but he also finds time to enjoy the company of friends, and follow the fortunes of his favourite AFL football team.
