Emma’s role is to provide high-level expertise, support and training to all of the business owners and their property management teams in the Barry Plant Group.
With 31 years’ experience in property management and familiarity with every level role - from property manager to business owner to buying and selling rent rolls - Emma brings a wealth of knowledge and practical advice to the role.
A trailblazer, Emma bought shares in her first business at the age of 26 and went on to open the first Property Management-only business in Melbourne – a business that she grew significantly over 10 years. She then moved into a corporate role as head of Property Management and Victorian Property Management trainer for a large global real estate group.
A fully licensed estate agent and qualified trainer with a Certificate IV in training and assessment, Emma loves being in a solution-focussed role as she works to help every Barry Plant person in property management develop their skills and provide true client satisfaction.
She believes that success in property management is very much tied to communication and interpersonal skills as well as a thorough knowledge of all the relevant legislation.
When not working, Emma enjoys spending time with her husband and teenage children. They enjoy going to the football, caravanning and camping, travel and snow skiing.
