Everyone enjoys that winning feeling
Before I get into the property side of this week’s Update, I wanted to extend my congratulations to all those supporters of the Brisbane Lions, (and for those with longer memories, Fitzroy), going one step further in this year’s AFL Grand Final after last year’s close call.
I’d also like to pass on my commiserations to all those who were barracking for the Sydney Swans, (including those old time South Melbourne fans), who were so close, and yet not quite close enough on the day.
From a real estate perspective, the end of the AFL season marks the start of the second phase of the Spring market in Melbourne. Other than a couple of horse races, we have a largely ‘distraction-free’ run from here to the end of the year, providing property buyers and sellers with many more reasons to celebrate if they adopt the right strategies.
Mind you, the footy didn’t distract too many buyers in recent weeks, as we saw once again this week when our team at Barry Plant Thomastown achieved another outstanding sales result on a light-filled four-bedroom home at 11 Maiden Court in Epping.
Offering the flexibility of two bathrooms, thoughtfully zoned living spaces and an inground pool in the secure back yard, this conveniently located family home attracted good interest from a number of young families before competitive negotiations saw the SOLD sign go up during the week. As you can see from the photo, the happy buyers were excited to have secured their next home and are looking forward to moving in soon.
Results like this one confirm that the attraction of an appealing home will always be hard to resist for a motivated buyer, no matter what else is happening around Melbourne. So if you are considering making a move before the end of 2024, I would recommend getting the wheels in motion sooner rather than later by having a chat with one of the experienced local experts at Barry Plant Thomastown.
Why not give us a call during this week on 9466 3233?
We look forward to being of assistance.
Best wishes,
Con Constantinou
