Strong Winter results in Moonee Valley
We may be in the midst of a Melbourne Winter, but it’s clear that there are a solid number of home buyers who prefer to be active in the Moonee Valley property market rather than heading to the snow or the Queensland sunshine!
Our team at Barry Plant Moonee Valley has been able to put together a number of very pleasing sales results recently, as this cross-section shows:
Aberfeldie: 2/33 Afton Street. The old saying about ‘location, location, location’ came to life at the auction of this sophisticated four bedroom townhouse (pictured). A blue ribbon position in the river precinct told the tale, with this week’s auction producing an outstanding sale at $1.7 million.
Airport West: 3/17 Cresswell Avenue. Set at the rear of a convenient group of three, this stylish two-bedroom unit achieved a pleasing mid-week sale at $630,000.
Avondale Heights: 34 Ridge Drive. Being within walking distance of the Milleara Shopping Centre, this well-maintained three-bedroom home had plenty of appeal for a growing family. The keys changed hands at $890,000.
Essendon West: 2/2 Diamond Street. Close proximity to several highly regarded schools added to the appeal of this brand new four-bedroom double-storey town residence. Competitive negotiations during the week saw the SOLD sign go up at $1.025 million.
Glenroy: 50 Widford Street. The value of productive post-auction negotiations came to the fore when this potential-filled three-bedroom home on around 686sqm of land was sold for $780,000.
Niddrie: 99 Hotham Road. A carefully targeted off-market campaign utilising our extensive database of registered buyers saw this three-bedroom home sold for $1.15 million before the neighbours even knew it was available for sale!
If results like these have got you curious about what your own property could achieve in the current market, why not give us a call this week at Barry Plant Moonee Valley on 9319 1700.
