Moonee Valley buyers get a Spring in their step
It’s certainly been a big week for our team at Barry Plant Moonee Valley, with our offices gaining recognition in eight different categories in the annual Barry Plant Awards for Excellence as well as achieving several outstanding results for our vendors across the City of Moonee Valley.
Among our most recent results were:
Airport West: 7/93 McNamara Avenue. This neat two-bedroom townhouse attracted interest from a mix of first home buyers and investors before competitive mid-week negotiations saw the keys change hands at $470,000.
Airport West: 2/26 Highridge Crescent. This one-of-a-kind three-bedroom townhouse within walking distance of the shops on McNamara Avenue achieved a strong mid-week sale, with the contracts being inked at $690,000.
Avondale Heights: 118 Canning Street. This four-bedroom home made an immediate impact, not the least for its position in a quiet cul-de-sac a few doors from the Maribyrnong River trails. As a result, the sold sign went up several weeks before this weekend’s scheduled auction.
Keilor East: 1/86 Quinn Grove. Experienced professional negotiations saw this two-bedroom townhouse sold immediately after the auction.
Keilor East: 15 Ellen Avenue. A prime corner block of around 536sqm near Rosehill Park (pictured) had several keen buyers weighing up a new future for this three-bedroom home. Strong mid-week negotiations saw the deal done at $875,000.
Niddrie: 2/66 Hotham Road. Generous living spaces inside and out added to the low maintenance appeal of this two-bedroom villa. A productive auction this weekend resulted in an excellent sale at $761,000.
Keep in mind that one of the key elements in a successful Spring sale involves getting your timing right, particularly with school holidays, long weekends and sporting events to allow for. So if you’d like to discuss how to maximise your own sale this Spring, you can give the team at Barry Plant Moonee Valley a call this week on 9319 1700 to discuss your options.
Best wishes,
