Triple threat’ team doubles sales activity at South Barwon office
Barry Plant South Barwon’s dynamic leadership team shares the strategy they’ve deployed to double the agency’s sales in less than six months.
Following the launch of Barry Plant South Barwon in July of this year, the brand has reported that the office under co-directors Chari Emirzade, Deane Hughes and Matthew Constantine has notched significant growth in the Geelong region.
With an innovative mindset and deep market knowledge of the local area, the “triple threat” leadership team has motivated the office to more than double its listing and sales activity, from 12 listings and eight sales in July to 24 listings and 20 sales in November.
During a recent visit to the South Barwon office, Barry Plant, the brand’s director and co-founder, along with his wife Karen, showed support for the office’s directors, stating that “their professionalism and dedication are evident in their strong track record and their commitment to helping clients through their next chapter in life”.
“Chari, Deane and Matthew bring an ideal combination of experience, maturity and knowledge, backed by an effervescent, dynamic young team,” the co-founder said.
The brand said Emirzade was “one of the top performers in the Barry Plant network”, highlighting his ability to close deals while maintaining long-lasting client relationships as being a “key driver in the office’s early success”.
Beyond his sales achievements, the brand said that Emirzade’s passion for real estate has also been evident in his dedication to fostering a team culture focused on learning and success, with the co-director commenting that “the growth we’ve seen in such a short time is exciting, but we’re just getting started”.
“The team is committed to maintaining this momentum, driving strong results, and building on the relationships we’ve established,” Emirzade said.
Highlighting Hughes’ two decades of experience in real estate, Barry Plant emphasised the director’s ethical negotiation style, extensive local expertise, and strong community connections, which have contributed to his history of record-breaking sales.
“We have a strong focus on guiding our clients through every step of the process, ensuring they feel confident and comfortable with their decisions,” Hughes said.
Constantine was described as an “essential part” of the office’s leadership team, who is recognised for his reliability and reputation for delivering quality results.
The brand noted that Constantine’s strong commitment to client satisfaction and comprehensive market knowledge have played a vital role in maintaining the office’s high standards, with the co-director remarking that “it’s incredibly rewarding to see how quickly we’ve made an impact in this market”.
“We’re not just about transactions, we’re about building a business that reflects our values and commitment to the community – the future is bright and we’re excited for what’s to come,” Constantine said.
Alongside its recent business growth, Barry Plant South Barwon has also added new talent to its team, including agent Haxhi Abedin, who brings extensive experience and a deep passion for real estate to the office.
“We have people knocking on our door to join us, and that speaks volumes about the environment we’ve created here,” Emirzade said.
The office has also continued to grow its portfolio of listings to fit demand for diverse buyer needs, ranging from family homes to premium residences, and has managed to swiftly sell many of these properties while often exceeding market expectations.
Looking ahead, the brand highlighted that consistently strong demand in the region has resulted in strong interest in upcoming auctions, and led the office to expect further growth in listings and sales.
Barry Plant’s head of growth, Mark Lynch, shared he was “thrilled with the office’s impressive start”, and stated “it’s incredibly exciting to see three exceptionally talented individuals joining forces in one office”.
“The outstanding results they’ve already achieved reflect their dedication, expertise and deep understanding of the industry. I have no doubt they’re going to accomplish amazing things in the South Barwon area,” Lynch said.
