Rowville is a Melbourne suburb located in the City of Knox local government area, 27 kilometres south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District. At the 2016 Census, Rowville had a population of 33,672. Neighbouring suburbs include Knoxfield, Lysterfield and Wheelers Hill. Just beyond the southern border is the M1 motorway.

Stud Park Shopping Centre, on the junction of Stud Road and Fulham Road, is Rowville's main commercial hub.
