Records continue to tumble in the Spring sunshine
It’s fascinating to see that despite all the recent media coverage on the rebound in buyer confidence that we have experienced in 2019, there are still a substantial number of property owners in the City of Hume who still haven’t realised how strong the demand for property is right now.
As we reported as recently as OUR UPDATE ON SEPTEMBER 7TH, new property price records are continuing to be set in the current local market, and we saw another example of this when we negotiated the sale of an as-new double-storey home in Greenhaven Drive, Greenvale.
Ideally positioned opposite a peaceful stretch of parkland, this impressive family haven was ideally set up to provide a spacious environment with plenty of contemporary style.
The downstairs section of the home comprised two well-zoned living and entertaining areas as well as access to an alfresco area at the rear. The kitchen was a sea of stone and stainless steel, whilst this level also included a bedroom with its own ensuite, making it ideal for guests or older relatives.
Upstairs provided a further four bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a study area and an additional rumpus or games area.
Of course, the location provided benefits as well, being handy to Greenvale shopping centre, popular schools and the parkland mentioned earlier.
The good news for our happy vendors was that through some productive negotiations from our experienced team, a terrific mid-week sale was achieved at $850,000 which sets a new price record for Greenvale’s up and coming Umbra Estate…a pleasing result all round as you cam tell from the photo above.
The important thing for local homeowners to keep in mind is that record-breaking results like these don’t happen by accident. They require careful planning and intimate knowledge of the local market. So if you are considering taking advantage of the favourable selling conditions in the local market, don’t hesitate to give our team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park a call on 9330 1088.
