Auction event gets local homeowners smiling
If you missed the excitement of last Tuesday’s (September 10th) Auction event, you’ll be pleased to know that the success of our latest In-Room auctions confirmed that the Spring selling season is generating plenty of traction for buyers and sellers alike in the City of Moonee Valley.
Here’s a summary of some of the recent sales results that our team at Barry Plant Moonee Valley has been achieving…
Ascot Vale: 2/123 Epsom Road. This well presented two-bedroom apartment on the ground floor of a building across the road from Victory Park achieved a very satisfying mid-week sale well before offers were due to close on a Sale by Set Date® campaign.
Flemington: 22 Marwick Street. Productive post-auction negotiations saw the SOLD sign go up on this potential-laden two-bedroom Victorian terrace within a few hours of last week’s auction.
Keilor East: 25 Riverside Place. Tuesday evening’s auction saw this updated three-bedroom single-level; home in a quiet cul-de-sac near the Milleara Shopping Centre sold for a very pleasing $695,000.
Keilor East: 1B Medway Road. Competitive bidding on Tuesday evening saw this elevated four-bedroom family home with views sold for the first time since it was built for the current vendors around thirty years ago. The contracts were inked at $1.32 million.
Niddrie: 20 Moushall Avenue. The opportunity to secure a five bedroom home on a generous land holding of around 635sqm with dual street frontage (pictured) proved popular with this one finding new owners on Tuesday evening when the keys changed hands at $1.035 million.
Pascoe Vale: 8/16-18 Pascoe Street. Productive post-auction negotiations following Tuesday evening’s event saw this three-bedroom townhouse sold within 48 hours.
Strathmore: 3/28 Roland Avenue. Light-filled and stylish, this two-bedroom single-level unit attracted such strong early interest that the sold sign went up well before the scheduled auction at $735,000.
Tullamarine: 4/1 Sycamore Avenue. This well maintained three-bedroom unit attracted spirited competition from four bidders at Tuesday’s auction. As a result the gavel fell at an impressive $608,000 which was around 10 per cent above our happy vendor’s reserve price.
With results like these confirming that the Spring selling season is now an active factor for anyone planning to make a move in 2024, right now is an ideal time to be putting the wheels in motion for your own property plans.
