<p data-block-key="d5dlm">October is Wishtober, the month that Barry Plant offices work to raise funds for Make-A-Wish, a wonderful organisation that grants wishes for critically ill children and teenagers. Their mission is to grant the wish of every eligible child – a quest sparked by the belief that a wish is integral to a child’s treatment.</p><p data-block-key="acqha">No two wishes are alike - but every wish transforms the lives of those involved, from children themselves to their family, friends, the wish team and the wider community.</p>

THE WISH EFFECT

Make-A-Wish takes each child on a carefully designed, unique journey where they anticipate and experience their most precious wish coming true.

This journey gives these kids and teens with life-threatening illnesses hope for the future, strength to face the challenges of their illness, and joy from their incredible wish experience.

Wishes transform the lives of sick kids, their families and communities. When a wish is realised, a child discovers that despite their situation, anything is possible.

The network will once again raise funds to help grant the wishes of children facing critical illnesses, having passed the million-dollar milestone in its overall contributions during last year’s efforts.

The Barry Plant Group is once again embracing the spirit of giving this October with their annual "Wishtober" event, in support of Make-A-Wish® Australia. For every property sold in October, Barry Plant will donate a portion of the commission to Make-A-Wish. Over the past decade, this initiative has raised over $1 million, demonstrating the network's commitment to community and making a difference.
